Anyone else with this experience?

I'm new here and I'm so happy to have a place where I can talk about my experience with psychics and interact with others who just get it 😅

I began my psychic journey back in September 2025, because of course, a guy. I only had a local medium reading back in 2017 ish. But it was in regard to connecting to deceased loved one. Never for feelings, emotions, thought, intentions, or predictions of someone else. A random ad for pocket insight came on my feed on TikTok lol to say the least I now know not to rely on those psychics as they are fake. I then moved on to soulight (I know) and I thought they were better LOL then I progressed onto keen but had bad experiences, then I moved onto CA psychics. I've read with some "good" readers but I guess my point is that. Y reading's quality has evolved. Again, I was a first timer so I've been learning A LOT.

there's a point to this backstory... and that is that all my readings have had the same overall outcome/big picture. And most if not all psychics have said that me and my POI are soulmates or have shared past lives or it's just "meant to be" or is fated. I kid you not, I would say 98% of psychics have said this. And I've learned that I should RUN when psychics say this especially the ones that are not on reputable sites. But I keep getting the same thing even on "premier" sites. So what the heck do I do? Has anyone else had this experience? I finally booked an appointment with Sincerity and I'll see what she says. I'm telling myself that she will be my last reading in regard to this POI because I hate having hope that things will work out between us. 😕

Yea, you're referring to fairytale readings. A lot of readers do that because it works, customers actually prefer to hear fairytales, it soothes their anxiety, and you know what, a super over the top fairytale reading can actually stop a customer from psychic binging for the rest of that day or week.

Like Miss Philosopher mentioned in a comment to another thread, you almost have to use your intuition. Also, take things that "sound too good to be true" with a grain of salt, keep it in your notes, back of your head and don't let it overly excite you (Stay grounded) and wait for final outcome. It's ok when readers give positive readings, but it's sketchy when they go over the top positive (doesn't mean they're 100% crossed off).

Then, rely on your notes down the line to determine who was actually most accurate for you.

Sighs. Your story sounds just like mine when I first started readings really heavy. It was back around like 2009-ish. I started on Keen then moved to California Psychics (those are the WORST in my opinion). I must have spoken to hundreds. I mean, I used to be so bad that I'd spend my rent money on it. They would all tell me the same thing about the person I'd call about back then. "He's coming back. He's scared. You two are meant to be together. You have past life soul ties. Blah blah blah". Until I came across just TWO that said polar opposite. The two were right, the other 99% were wrong. So I continued reading with just one of the two that were right thereafter. I didn't like the cold delivery style of one of them which is why I didn't go back plus I felt she had a hatred for men in general lol.

Currently, I'm MUCH better with the readings. I only read with the two people I've already mentioned here previously. I only get readings once a month or less now. However, there ARE still times here and there where situations may cause my anxiety to sky rocket and then I might get two to four readings in a month. It is what it is. We do what we have to do to get through tough times. But I definitely DO recommend leaning on your own intuition, not just with whatever situation, but even when choosing a psychic.
